ABOUT ME
"Live, and be happy, and make others so."
- Mary Shelley -

I grew up in Hyde Park, UT and spent my entire childhood to teenage years there. After high school I moved for the first time to Ephraim, UT to attend Snow College. At Snow College I gained independence, confidence and walked away with an Associates of Arts degree. After Snow College I planned to attend Utah State University, but after some big life changes I made the decision to move to Cedar City and transfer schools.

I am now a senior here at Southern Utah University. After moving to Cedar City, I got hired at a childcare, and that job helped me realize my passion. I love working with preschool age kids, and so I'm pursuing my education in Family, Life, and Human Development with an emphasis in early childhood. I'm passionate about pursuing child-led and open-ended play. I believe children learn the best through play.

One of my other passions include finding my creative outlet, whether is sewing, learning watercolor or simply coloring in a coloring book. Creativity is what allows me to calm my mind and body. I value my family and my love of camping, card games and country music comes from my family. I was blessed to have the opportunity to live in Washington, D.C. for a summer, and that city is my favorite city in the USA, the history of the city fascinates me.
